The government has listed a 16-point action plan for doubling the farmers’ income by 2022. The agriculture credit target has been hiked by 10 percent at Rs 16.5 lakh crore. An amount of Rs. 2.83 lakh crore has been set aside for agriculture and allied sector sctivities including irrigation and rural development said Tarun Chugh, BJP National General Secretary.
He further stated that India had set an example in economic revival for the world to emulate despite being hit hard by Covid-19.
Despite the on going standoff between the farmers and the Government regarding the 3 Farm Act 2020, despite being on hold by the Supreme Court, with 2022 round the corner do we really look towards DFI 2022. Wait and watch with a dash of hope.
