Odisha has undertaken several initiatives in the recent past in terms of implementation of ease of doing business, creating an enabling policy framework and development of infrastructure facilities to make it easy for companies in the farming and agriculture sector to set up and do business in the State. Odisha is rapidly growing in terms of investments attracted by the food & seafood processing and agriculture sector.
Given these initiatives and developments, I am happy to inform you that Government of Odisha will be organizing “Krushi Odisha 2018: Exhibition and Krushak Patshala” this year to attract investments in the food & seafood processing and agriculture sector. Government of Odisha, Department of Agriculture and Confederation of India Industry (CII) are collaborating to organize “Krushi Odisha 2018: Exhibition and Krushak Patshala” at Bhubaneswar during06 March 2018 to 09 March 2018. The key objective is to showcase the prowess of the Farming and Agriculture Industry in the State and highlight the investment opportunities the sector.
As part of the Exhibition, the following key activities are being organized:
- Food & Seafood Processing and Agriculture exhibition to showcase products, technologies and implements of companies in the sector.
- Interactive sessions on the policy ecosystem and investment opportunities in the State
- Krushak Pathshala to educate farmers on beneficial farming techniques and technologies
- B2B Meetings and Government interactions.
