Pooppoli, International Fruit and Flori Fest organized by Kerala Agriculture University in association with Department of Agriculture Development & Farmers’ Welfare will be held from January 1-18 at Regional Agriculture Research Station, Wayanad.
An enormous display of flowers, fruit trees and planting materials extended over ten acres is the major attraction of the event. Aimed at imparting the latest agriculture techniques by agricultural experts through seminars, training and interactive sessions, the flori fest will add a lot of educational value to the entertainments offered. Cultural programmes and food festival will also add more colour to the event. The exhibition will also host an International Symposium on Orchids, Strawberry, minor Fruits & Flowers (Jan 12-16) & Technology Week (Jan 5 – 9).
