GOI organising IVF training programme

Twenty-one days GOI-IVF hands on training has started from 13 November 2017 at ICAR-IVRI, in the Division of Physiology & Climatology. Five participants working as Veterinary Officers in the state animal husbandry departments of West Bengal, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh are participating in the above mentioned training. The said training is being imparted under the directives of Government of India, coordinated by DADF.

Twenty-one days GOI-IVF hands on training has started from 13 November 2017 at ICAR-IVRI, in the Division of Physiology & Climatology. Five participants working as Veterinary Officers in the state animal husbandry departments of West Bengal, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh are participating in the above mentioned training. The said training is being imparted under the directives of Government of India, coordinated by DADF.

The very aim of this training is to strengthen these Veterinary Officers in the field of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), strictly in the hands on mode, so as to use this ART tool for the faster propagation of valuable indigenous germplasm of Livestock and endangered species. Dr. Vikash Chandra, Scientist, P&C Division is imparting this GOI-IVF training under the supervision of Head P&C Division and monitoring of Joint Director (Research) with the directives of Director ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar.
