The Indian Council for Agriculture Research (ICAR) along with the National Research Centre on Plant Bio-Technology has announced vacancies in a Research position.
Eligible candidates can appear for a walk-in-interview for two positions in projects in the Department of Bio-Technology (DBT) and projects funded by ICAR. The positions are short term in nature and are co-terminus with the projects. The initial period of deployment will be for one year which may be extended based on the performance of the candidate.

The project is funded by the DBT and is called “Mainstreaming sesame germ plasm for productivity enhancement and sustainability through genomics assisted core development and trait discovery”
Age Limit: 35 years max with 5 years relaxation for OBC/SC/ST. Special exemptions will also be provided to women applicants based on the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) rules.
Qualification: A P.hD/MS/MDS/MD degree in Molecular Biology and Bio-Technology or related fields or having an experience of almost three years in teaching, research, design of the related subject after completing MVSc/M.Pharma/ME/M.Tech and one research paper being published in any Science Citation Indexed Journal.
Salary: Rs.54,000 plus 24% Home Rent Allowance.

Age Limit: 35 years max with 5 years relaxation for OBC/SC/ST. Special exemptions will also be provided to women applicants based on the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) rules.
Qualifications: Masters in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology ore and related field. Experience of 4/5 years for Bachelors's degree applicants who have a post-grad degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelors's degree also need to have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
Salary: Rs. 31000 plus 24% Home Rent Allowance
