Vijay Kumar, New Chief General Manager, is taking over charge of NABARD in Telangana Regional Office on 1st August 2018, from Dr. P Radhakrishnan, CGM who has retired on July 31.
Vijay, who hails from Nizamabad has completed BSc (Agri) from Prof Jaishankar University, Rajendranagar in the year 1983.
He joined as Grade ‘A’ officer in NABARD during 1985 at Head Office, Mumbai. He worked as District Development Manager (DDM), Mahabubnagar district for 6 years (1996-2002).
He was also in-charge of Project Monitoring Unit (PMU), during the period 2010-2013 and looked after watershed projects in 5 districts i.e. Nizamabad, Medak, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Nalgonda, having headquartered at Sangareddy.
Apart from NABARD Vijay worked in the States of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh (United), Madhya Pradesh, Assam and Gujarat on various capacities.
