Arya.ag, an integrated grain commerce platform, has announced the launch of instant agricultural loans for farmers. Farmers may utilize Arya's digital platform to obtain a quick loan against their stored commodities in Arya's warehouses.
Arya's integrated platform uses AI, ML, and IoT technologies to transform each bag of agricultural products kept in its warehouse into an electronic balance. The automated decisioning engine of Arya.ag provides funding against this electronic balance in a few clicks, assisting farmers in avoiding distress sales following harvest.
Arya said in a statement that it expects to disburse 1,000 crores through its Insta-Loan product in FY23.
With fast access to finance, smallholder farmers and other value chain stakeholders may meet any liquidity requirements. Farmers will be able to maximize the value of their farm products as a result of this.
According to a previous RBI survey, only approximately 40% of Indian farmers have been covered by formal loans. The Insta-Loan from Arya.ag will solve the critical matter of Indian farmers which is the lack of proper access to finance.
