During by-election campaigning in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan  announced a Rs 1,500 crore transfer to farmers’ accounts, which looks to be an open challenge to the poll commission and the Congress. On Friday afternoon, he spoke at an electoral rally in Dighora, which is part of the Prithvipur Assembly Segment.

He added in his inimitable style of oratory prior to the revelation that Congress submits complaints every day alleging that I breach the election model code of conduct. He put a lot of emphasis on the term "violate." "Kal mein kisano ke khate mein dedh hazar crore daal raha hun," he added, placing both hands on his chest. (Tomorrow, I'll send Rs 1500 crore to the farmers' accounts.) "Tomorrow at 11.30 am, Mama will send Rs 1,500 crore in your account with one click," he said, as if challenging the Congress.

The BJP has poured all of its resources into the four by-elections in MP, including Raigaon (Satna), Jobat (Alirajpur), Prithvipur in Niwari, and the Khandwa Lok Sabha seat, after losing Damoh in March. On October 30, voters will go to the polls.

Shivraj claimed that Modi was allocating Rs 6,000 for the Mukhya Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, which was less in these difficult circumstances. "Whether it's a one-acre farmer or a half-acre farmer, Modi has given Rs 6,000, so I thought Mama, you've become CM for the fourth time, so I decided to give Rs 4,000 more," he stated, to loud applause.

He said that he had just hiked the DA for government employees the day before. He stated that the money held back as a result of the salary increase will now be cleared in two installments.

"Dada Kamal Nath destroyed the entire state in a short period of time," he continued, criticizing Kamal Nath for his 15-month leadership. He had pledged to forgive loans, but he had forgotten about it. He cheated the state out of millions of dollars. He'd sleep at the Vallabh Bhavan (the state secretariat), wrapped in a blanket.
