CM Yogi Honoured Farmers & distributed Tractors on the Birth Anniversary of Choudhary Charan Singh

On the occasion of Kisan Diwas, 118th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Choudhary Charan Singh, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath honoured 24 farmers, and distributed tractors to 11 farmers in Kisan Samman Samaroh. CM Yogi also mentioned that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer 18 thousand Crore rupees to farmers’ accounts on 25th December as the next installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi

On the occasion of Kisan Diwas, 118th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Choudhary Charan Singh, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath honoured 24 farmers, and distributed tractors to 11 farmers in Kisan Samman Samaroh. And three women farmers were also rewarded by giving 75-75 thousand rupees for the best work. 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “In order to bring prosperity in the lives of farmers, the Prime Minister has introduced new farm laws. And those who doesn’t want the progress of farmers are trying to provoke them. And, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the one who has done many positive changes for farmers.” CM Yogi also mentioned that, the government has paid a true tribute to the former Prime Minister Choudhary Charan Singh by starting Ramala Sugar Mill. Those who do politics on the name of farmers’ benefit become silent as soon as they hold power.  

PM will Transfer 18 Thousand Crore Rupees to Farmers’ Accounts on December 25 

CM Yogi also mentioned that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer 18 thousand Crore rupees to farmers’ accounts on 25th December as the next instalment of Kisan Samman Nidhi, which will lead prosperity for the farmers. He said that 54 thousand crores annually or 18 thousand crores every 4 months are transferred to the farmers’ bank accounts by the Prime Minister under Kisan Samman Nidhi.  

89 Krishi Vigyan Kendra Engaged in Increasing Farmers’ Income 

CM Yogi also mentioned that Krishi Vigyan Kendras have been linked through four state agricultural universities. Jhansi Central Agricultural University has also been started recently. Agricultural faculty of BHU has been associated with farmers. Overall, 89 Krishi Vigyan Kendras are working to increase the income of farmers.  

Farmers’ Words 

Farmers said that fertilizer and seeds are no more an issue, and irrigation is also easy now. And farmers are misguided for the years, but soon everything is going to improve. And farmers also said that, CM Yogi is working for the benefit of farmers.  

Kusum Srivastava, one of the progressive women farmer, resident of Indiranagar Lucknow, is involved in pickle processing, her small unit provides employment to 10 people. And, Shobha Rani of Lucknow cultivates capsicum in 20 thousand square meters.
