K Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, expressed solidarity with the protesting farmers and stated that farmers had the power to overthrow governments. The Telangana chief minister was in Chandigarh to meet with bereaved farmers' families who had lost loved ones in the "battle for farmers' rights" against the Centre.

"Protesting farmers were called Khalistani, terrorists," KCR stated of the farmers' protest against the Centre's three farm laws. My only suggestion to farmers' leaders is that we continue the protest across the country, not just in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. Farmers have the power to alter governments."

In Chandigarh on Sunday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, together with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, paid respect to the Galwan Valley martyrs and farmers who perished during the anti-farm law uprising last year.

"Delhi CM Kejriwal is lucky because he got an opportunity to help farmers while they waited on Delhi's borders," KCR stated to the gathering. Our agrarian brothers and sisters would always have our support. We can't bring those who have died back, but we're here for you."

"A lot of farmer concerns lasted before Telangana became a state." Farmers were killing themselves. We are improving by providing free electricity to farmers. The centre wants us to impose electricity tariffs and install metres. "We would perish but not put metres," Telangana Chief Minister KCR stated.

Earlier in the day, CM K Chandrashekar and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal met for lunch and discussed a variety of topics, including the country's present political scenario. They departed for Chandigarh later.
