HAV S1: India’s First Automatic Hybrid Tractor with Advanced Features Launched

Proxecto has launched HAV S1 in the Indian market. It is the country’s first hybrid tractor that does not have a battery pack. It has been praised worldwide for its advanced environment-friendly technology.

The HAV S1 tractor was first introduced in Germany, at the world’s largest Agritechnic show in November 2019.  

On May 8, Proxecto has launched HAV S1 in the Indian market. It is the country’s first hybrid tractor that does not have a battery pack. It has been praised worldwide for its advanced environment-friendly technology. 

The company claims that this hybrid tractor has more than two dozen features, which will be seen for the first time in this section.  

Ankit Tyagi, Managing Director of Proxecto Engineering Services and founder of HAV tractors said, “We have received considerable response from people in India and abroad as well. We have been able to launch this tractor in India despite the difficulties faced by many fronts including lockdown, supply chain, logistics, manpower, dealers, and suppliers due the corona pandemic.   

What are the Special Features? 

Future Ready Electric Tractor 

This is the only hybrid tractor in the country that does not use a battery pack. It can run on different fuel options. The company says that with the improvement of infrastructure, it will be able to upgrade the tractor to a fully electric vehicle.  

Eco-friendly 

The HAV tractors series include two models. 50 S1 model is a diesel hybrid and 50 S2 is a CNG hybrid. The company says that the S1 model saves up to 28% more fuel than conventional tractors and the S2 model saves up to 50% on fuel. It is a self-propelled technology where the engine simply supplies current to electric motors and other components.  

 

Low Turning Radius and Fully Automatic

The company says that this tractor has a special steering system with Max Cover Steering (MCS), with turning radius of only 2.7 meters (front-steer, all-steer, crab-steer). And it has the wheel independent suspension system for height adjustment. The tractor is fully automatic and has All Wheel Electric Drive Technology (AWED). It is the only tractor in the country that has neither gear nor clutch. It offers three simple driving modes- forward, neutral, and reverse.  

What is the Price? 

The base model of HAV S1 50 HP has the starting price of Rs. 9.49 lakh, while the top variant S1 + is priced at Rs. 11.99 lakh. And one more model S1 45 HP is priced at Rs. 8.49 lakh. These tractors can be booked through the company’s official website by paying a booking amount of Rs. 10,000.  

The HAV tractor series offers a lot of innovative design and advanced features for the ease of farmers. It has an interactive steering-mounted HMI display. It will make the control of the equipment of the tractor easier. And the company is offering the 10-year limited warranty.
