PM Kisan: How to Check Status of Self Registered/CSC Farmer

One of the most beneficial schemes for the farmers launched by the Central Government is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the Centre provides an income support of Rs 6,000 per year to the farmers in three equal instalments of Rs. 2000 each.

One of the most beneficial schemes for the farmers launched by the Central Government is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the Centre provides an income support of Rs 6,000 per year to the farmers in three equal instalments of Rs. 2000 each. 

Besides PM Kisan, there are many government schemes in agriculture for the farmers. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the last instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 14 May 2021. More than Rs. 19,500 crore was transferred directly into the accounts of over 9.75 crore beneficiaries.  If you haven’t received the money till now then check your application status and find out the reason for the delay. How to check status of self registered/CSC farmer

To check status of self registered/CSC farmer, follow the steps given below;

Step 1 - Go to PM-Kisan official website - www.pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2 - On the menu bar, click ‘Farmers corner’

Step 3 - Now click on the link that reads ‘Status of Self Registered/CSC Farmers’

Step 4 – Enter Aadhar number and Image text carefully

Step 5 – Click on search. Your status will appear on the screen

Farmers can also download PM Kisan Mobile App from Google play store. This will make their search easier and faster. The mobile app contains all the facilities that are available in the portal.

How to activate PM Kisan account?

  • In order to activate PM Kisan Account - go to the official website (mentioned above) and look for Farmers Corner section.

  • Then click on “New Farmer Registration”.

  • After that, select either ‘Rural Farmer Registration or Urban Farmer Registration’ (If you are from rural area then select Rural Farmer Registration or vice versa).

  • Then fill in all the required details like Aadhaar number etc. correctly and submit the application.
