Kisan Credit Card Yojana: KCC Holders Must Keep These Things in Mind Before Applying for Scheme

Keeping in mind the welfare of farmers who play the most important role in an agrarian country, the government has initiated Kisan Credit Card Scheme across the country. Under this scheme, a farmer can get Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and avail loans with lowest interest rate. Till now, many schemes have been implemented by the Central Government for crores of farmers across the country.

Keeping in mind the welfare of farmers who play the most important role in an agrarian country, the government has initiated Kisan Credit Card Scheme across the country. Under this scheme, a farmer can get Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and avail loans with lowest interest rate. Till now, many schemes have been implemented by the Central Government for crores of farmers across the country.

All the farmers of the country are getting benefit under this scheme. Kisan Credit Card Scheme is the solution to many problems of farmers including financial security to crop insurance. Under this scheme, loans worth Rs 1.6 lakh are being given to farmers without any guarantee. Not only this, the interest rate under this scheme is as low as 4 percent annually.

On the other hand, if you also want to take advantage of this scheme, then you should have an account in PM Kisan Yojana. Recently the government has announced that it's going to give credit cards to at least 2.5 crore farmers across the country.

Only 4 percent interest rate on loan:

The first benefit under this scheme is that the farmer can take a loan of up to 3 lakh rupees in 5 years in a short term through this card. But if you want to take a loan without this scheme then you have to pay the interest rate of 9%. But it is subsidized by 2 percent. In this sense, it was 7 percent. On the other hand, if the farmer returns this loan on time, then he also gets a further rebate of 3%, i.e. on this condition he will have to pay only 4% interest on the loan.

Five years validity of Kisan Credit Card

The validity of this plan is 5 years. Not only this, you can get a loan of more than 1.6 lakh rupees without guarantee under that scheme. Apart from this, notified crops / notified areas, crop insurance are covered under the loan. If you too want to take advantage of this scheme and want to apply for it, then you need to fulfill just one condition. You have to have an account in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Only those customers can take advantage of this government scheme, which is able to take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.

These Documents are Needed for Application

If you want to apply for this scheme then you must have Voter ID card / PAN card / Passport / Aadhaar card / Driving license etc. for ID proof.

Where can I get a Kisan Credit Card After applying?

The Kisan Credit Card can be obtained from any Co-operative Bank, Regional Rural Bank. Or this card can also be taken from SBI, BOI and IDBI Bank. Apart from this, National Payments Corporation of India Rupees also issues Kisan Credit Card.
