Modi Government to Release PM Kisan 9th Installment Soon; Check Beneficiary Status & Update Necessary Details

The central government launched Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, popularly known as PM-Kisan in 2019 to provide financial assistance to farmers across the country. Under this government scheme, every farmer gets Rs.6000 per year in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each.

Besides PM Kisan, there are many government schemes in agriculture for the benefit of farmers across the country.

Last installment was released in May and now the Government is preparing to disburse the 9^th installment under the scheme. Farmers who haven’t registered for this scheme must do it as early as possible to get the 9^th installment of PM Kisan Yojana.

PM-Kisan Registration Process

A farmer can apply or register for PM-Kisan by visiting the official government website - www.pmkisan.gov.in/. This is the main website of PM-Kisan. Here farmer will have to fill in the application form with all required details.

Farmer can also approach the local patwari /revenue officer /Nodal Officer of PM-Kisan scheme appointed by the Centre of particular state or he can directly visit the Common Services Centres (CSC) to apply for the scheme.

Farmers who haven’t received the 8^th installment must check their status to know what’s the problem and try to rectify it as soon as possible. Usually payment is stopped due to incorrect details or mismatch in name etc. If there is any problem in your aadhaar details then go to the official website and correct it immediately. 

How to check PM Kisan Updated Status, Beneficiaries list

To check PM Kisan status or beneficiaries list, follow the steps given below;

Step 1 - Open PM-Kisan official portal - www.pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2 - Click on ‘Farmers corner’

Step 3 - Now click on whatever details (PM Kisan status or beneficiaries list) you want to check.

Step 4 - Then tap on 'Get Report'

A farmer should have the following documents in order to apply for PM-Kisan scheme;

• Aadhaar Card

• Bank Account

• Land Holding Documents

• Citizenship certificate
