PM Kisan: 2 crore Farmers Will Not Get 10th Installment on January 1; Check Updated Beneficiary List

As per the latest media reports, more than 2 crore farmers will not get the 10th installment this time. PM Modi will transfer Rs 20,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmers under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi on 1 Jan.

There is one good and one bad news for crores of farmers waiting for the 10th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

The good news is that the 10th installment will be sent to the farmers' account even if the e-KYC is not completed. The bad news is that more than 2 crore farmers will not get the 10th installment this time.

According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to make New Year special for the farmers by releasing the next installment of PM Kisan on January 1.

On the first day of the New Year, PM Modi will release the 10th installment of Rs 20,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan). According to the latest data given on the PM Kisan website, more than 12.30 crore farmers are registered under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and on 1 January 2022, 10 crore farmers will receive Rs. 2000 each in the accounts as December-March installment.  However, media reports stated that more than 2 crore beneficiaries of PM Kisan may be deprived of this New Year gift due to some reasons.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in a statement on Wednesday said that the PM Modi will release the 10th installment through video conference at 12.30 pm on Saturday. Along with this, equity grants of more than Rs 14 crore will also be released to about 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will also be present on the occasion.

e-KYC not mandatory for 10th Installment

Under PM Kisan Yojana, 10th installment will be sent to farmers' account without e-KYC. An official of the Agriculture Department said that now no farmer should worry for e-KYC. After the December-March installment, e-KYC will be mandatory for all the beneficiaries.

How to Check your name in beneficiary list

  • Go to PM Kisan website

  • Under farmers corner on the right-hand side, click on the beneficiary list

  • Now fill in the details like State, District, Block, Village

  • Submit the details to get the list
