Under the Centre's flagship PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme Uttar Pradesh was ranked first in the country for timely grievance settlement. According to a state government spokeswoman, 3,68,926 of the 3,70,085 concerns received were handled, making it simpler for farmers to profit from the plan.

According to reports, many farmers were unable to get rewards as a result of paperwork inconsistencies and other issues. Payments were also kept pending and direct bank transfers were canceled owing to irregularities in bank records. The Uttar Pradesh administration moved quickly to launch a campaign to settle over 3.68 lakh complaints. According to the spokeswoman, just 1,158 grievances are now outstanding.

UP had previously been recognised for having the quickest deployment of the PMKSNS, which had enlisted 2.54 million farmers. Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Rajasthan, according to the state government, are behind UP in terms of grievance resolution. According to the latest statistics given by the Centre, Uttar Pradesh got the most complaints under the PMKSNS, yet 99 percent of the instances were quickly resolved.

Only 48,403 of the 85,715, received by Maharashtra, have been resolved thus far. Rajasthan and West Bengal came in third and fourth place, respectively, with 82,945 and 79,804 complaints. According to the state administration, 82 percent of cases in Rajasthan have been addressed so far, while 98 percent have been resolved in Bengal.

The scheme, which was launched on February 24, 2019, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, provides small and marginal farmers with a combined landholding/ownership of up to two hectares with an annual income assistance of Rs 6,000. The money is paid to farmers' accounts in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each via direct benefit transfer.

This time, farmers may receive double the instalment amount, i.e. Rs 4000. The Modi government, on the other hand, has yet to make a judgment on this. To take advantage of this, you must register with PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM KISAN Registration).
