PM Kisan Update: There is good news for crores of farmers of the country. The much-awaited 10th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana will be released in fifteen days. This time, many beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana will also get Rs. 4000 instead of Rs 2000.

Modi Government had started Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to help the farmers deal with agriculture expenses. Under this scheme, the Central government gives Rs. 6000 to the farmers every year. This amount is given in three installments of Rs. 2000 each. The government directly transfers all three installments of PM Kisan Yojana into eligible farmers’ accounts.

It must be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi started this scheme on 24 February 2019 from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

These farmers will get Rs. 4000

According to government data, till now 11.37 crore farmers of the country have been given financial assistance of Rs 1.58 lakh crore under this scheme. According to media reports, by 15th of next month, the central government will release the 10th installment of PM Kisan Yojana. Normally farmers get Rs. 2000 in every installment, but this time the 9th and 10th installments of some farmers may come together.

This is because many farmers have not yet received the 9th installment of the scheme, which was released in August. Hence these farmers can get the 9th installment along with the 10th installment in December. This means they will get Rs. 4000 instead of Rs 2000.

How to take advantage of PM Kisan – Online and Offline

Farmers who have not yet registered under PM Kisan Yojana can still join this scheme. For this, they will have to visit the official website - pmkisan.gov.in. The link to apply online is available on the homepage of the website (Farmers Corner Section). In order to apply offline, farmers will have to contact the District Grievance Redressal Monitoring Committee of their district.

Strict action will be taken against these farmers/beneficiaries

However, there have been many cases where people have been misusing the scheme. If you are one of them then be careful as the government is strictly identifying the farmers who are taking advantage of financial help under PM Kisan Yojana by giving wrong information. The Centre is recovering money from all these people. It has also requested people to submit correct information.
