PM Kisan Yojana: So far, more than 9 crore farmers have been registered under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The objective of PM Kisan yojana is to provide financial help to the farmers of the country.
Besides PM Kisan yojana, there are many government schemes for the farmers.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the eighth installment of this scheme. Under this, Rs. 20 thousand crore were sent to the account of 9.5 crore farmers.
How New Farmers can avail the benefits of PM Kisan scheme
If you are a farmer and fulfil all the requirements of PM Kisan Yojana then you can apply and get benefit of this scheme right at your home.
New farmers who want to join this scheme can register themselves on the official website - https://pmkisan.gov.in/
before June 30.
Farmers will get double benefit if they register before June 30
If a farmer registers under this scheme before June 30, then he can get the benefit of two installments of this scheme.
If a farmer registers in June, he will get his first installment (8th installment) of the scheme in July. He will also get the upcoming installment that Government usually transfers in the month of August. This means the farmer will get double benefit of PM Kisan Yojana. He will get Rs 4,000 as soon as he registers for the scheme.
On the other hand, farmers who did not receive the 8th installment must check their application or account status to know by when they will get the money.

Eligibility for the scheme
At the time of introduction of this scheme, only the farmers with small holdings were given the benefit of the scheme. Later this scheme was amended, after which all the farmers of the country can take advantage of this scheme.
About PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is provided annually to the registered farmer. This amount is transferred to the farmers' account in three installments of Rs 2,000 at an interval of every four months.
