One of Modi government’s most beneficial schemes for farmers is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the government transfers Rs 6000 every year in the bank accounts of farmers. So far more than nine crore farmers in India have been registered under this yojana. PM-Kisan started informally on 1st December 2018 but was formally launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24 February 2019 from Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
If you apply for the scheme now and your application gets approved then Rs. 2000 will be transferred in your bank account in the first week of August. So, without making any further delay, apply for PM-Kisan to get Rs. 6000 every year.
Under this scheme, government transfers Rs 6000 in three instalments of Rs. 2000 each. One installment is transferred in between December to March. Second installment is sent between April and July. Whereas the third installment is sent between August and November. If you apply in any of these months and your application gets approved, then you will immediately receive the amount in your account.
It must be noted that a farmer will get financial help only when his state government will verify the revenue record, Aadhaar number and bank account number. Hence while applying make sure the information you enter is correct.
How to apply for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi
You can apply from mobile as well as computer or laptop. All you need to do is visit the PM-Kisan official website<
- Here you have to click on the 'Farmers Corner' tab from the options given on the homepage.
- Then choose 'New Farmers Registration'.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and given code. Then tap on Click Here.
After this, another page will open in front of you, if you have registered before, then your details will come and if you are registering for the first time, it will be written that 'RECORD NOT FOUND WITH GIVEN DETAILS, DO YOU WANT TO REGISTER ON PM-KISAN PORTAL, you have to say YES and continue.
On clicking this, a new page will open in which you will see the form. Complete this form. Provide correct information. So that there is no problem in approval.
After this, another page will open in which you will be asked for the details of your land. The registration process will be completed as soon as you save. A registration number or reference number will be automatically generated. Keep this number with you for future references.
