The International Federation of Zebu Breeders (FICEBU) met on 1st May 2019 at ABCZ headquarters to discuss several important issues for the organization, including zebu breeds racial entity and encouraging the exchange of genetic material. The President of ABCZ and FICEBU, Mr. Arnaldo Manuel Machado Borges, emphasized about the importance of this work carried out jointly with several countries. He said, "This year, we have created a space near the Fernando Costa Park testing grounds so that all international associations are present and can discuss and make improvements to the zebu breed. Through the international arm of ABCZ, which is the Brazilian Cattle, we have done an important job and presence in many events outside the country. "

"For this exchange, there must be a sanitary regulation protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of Brazil and the ministry of the other country. And our job is to promote this intermediary, "explains ABCZ International Relations Manager, Icce Garbellini.

It was also decided that countries should work to create a standardization of zebu breeds so that there is convergence within the federation. Colombia was chosen to host the 1st International Zebu Cattle Fair. The following countries are part of FICEBU: Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Costa Rica and the United States.
