Subsidy For Cow Rearing: Government is Providing Rs.10,800 to Dairy Farmers

Madhya Pradesh government is providing subsidies to farmers rearing cows. This initiative was taken by the government to promote natural farming.

The use of chemical fertilizers in the fields not only reduces the fertility of land but has also causes great harm to overall human health. Vegetables grown using chemical fertilizers invite dangerous diseases such as cancer. This is the reason why, in the last few years, the use of organic manure is being promoted.

Farmers Will Be Provided with Rs. 900 Every Month

Madhya Pradesh government will provide Rs. 900 per month, which sums up to Rs. 10,800 per annum, to farmers rearing indigenous cows for natural farming. Apart from this, farmers can avail good profits by selling milk. Moreover, cow dung and urine can also be used as manure in the fields.

CM Shivraj stated during a program that the farmer who will adopt natural farming by rearing cows will be given Rs. 900 per month from the government treasury.

He explained that the health of our earth is deteriorating due to the extensive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides for cow rearing. Due to this, the food and environment are getting polluted.

This food and environmental pollutions lead to health-related concerns.

CM Shivraj said that he will practice natural farming this year on 5 acres of land and recruit people to provide training in natural farming methods.

Advantages of Cow Dung Manure

Shivraj Singh Chouhan further said that one cow dung and cow urine is enough for 30 acres of land.

Using cow dung and urine as manure have many advantages, such as it is cheap, natural, has no side effects on crops, the crops use less amount of water and the produced crops have few to no defects.
