7th Asian PGPR Conference 2022 will be organized by Asian PGPR from 23-26 August 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The theme of the conference is ‘Regenerative Agriculture with Beneficial Microbes for Improving Crop Productivity and safety’.

It is an international forum to present and discuss recent advances in PGPR-based research and methodologies, framework, and developments, standards, and applications related to sustainable agriculture. The theme of the conference covers a wide range of PGPR studies that are of great interest to researchers and professionals.

Why Visit?

The 2022 agenda looks at the most recent scientific discoveries flowing from developments in PGPR and its technologies as well as the importance of the microbiome in agriculture. Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) may affect plant growth, development, and disease suppression by one or more direct or indirect mechanisms.

The role of the rhizosphere is pivotal for plant growth promotion, nutrition, and crop quality because of the importance of plant-microbe interactions in the rhizosphere, carbon sequestration, nutrient cycling, and ecosystem functioning In addition, the rhizosphere is where plant roots communicate with beneficial rhizobacteria for energy and nutrition.

Sessions:

  • Session 1: General Application of PGP Microbes in Agriculture, Forestry, and Environment

  • Session 2: Biochemistry and Biotechnology of PGP Microbes

  • Session 3: PGP Microbes for Plant Protection, Soil Amendment, and Biofertilizer
