The ICC and the Department of Fisheries, Government of West Bengal is organizing the Bengal Fish Fest 2019from Jan 11 to 13 at Kolkata to address the current issues and look forward toward prospective investment opportunities in the Fisheries sector of West Bengal.
The Bengal Fish Fest 2019 will provide an opportunity to Sea Food & Fishery Industry leaders, entrepreneurs and service providers to showcase their products, services, technologies and their benefits to the participants and users in the sector/ industry.
The highlights of the event are two day technical seminar, covering all the critical aspects and strategies to ensure growth of the sector.Three-Day exhibitionfor thedisplay of all kinds of inputs, accessories, machineries from the fisheries sector along with prospects related to technology, large business oriented audiences and fishermen.Reverse Buyer Seller Meet between Government / Private sellers and National & International buyers from the fisheries sector.Two day live demonstration and technical training for the fishermen from all districts of Bengal at the Fisherman Corner at water body of Nalban.Two day culinary show along with competition on various fish preparation recipes, wherein hotels and restaurants shall participate on Day 1 followed by participation from individuals on Day 2.A three day cultural evening to enhance mass involvement and promote fisheries.
