Technology Division of CII is organizing EV India Summit on 24th June 2022 at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Chennai with the theme of “Indigenization of EV Supply Chain in India”. Government of India’s prestigious “Make in India” program concept is now the cornerstone of the EV policy.
Hence it is necessary to understand what needs to be done to best leverage our potential to harness the huge opportunities in the EV sector. This Summit aims to help stakeholders understand how to effectively synergise our strengths and capabilities for a prospective growth in vehicle manufacturing segment to achieve indigenization in the EV sector.
This Summit aims to serve as a knowledge platform to discuss on the opportunities and challenges in the EV sectors and to further serve as an interaction platform for key stakeholders in the EV and allied sectors; Identify areas to build capacity to harness the opportunities in the sector; Understand from key officials about the expectations of EV industry;
Gather thoughts on how to effectively utilize the MSME segment for the EV industry and propose models in similar lines; Understand how sectors like automotive, electronics, ICT, technologies, Design software etc. can enhance their contribution to EV segment;
Emphasize the nations’ Strength in areas like design, program management etc; Aid government agencies in facilitating effective policy and provisions for development; Facilitate knowledge flow by working with organizations from different backgrounds on the common agenda.
