IFA Strategic Forum 2021 will be organized by International Fertilizer Association from 15-17 November 2021 at Hotel Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, Burj Daman, Al Mustaqbal St. DIFC Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Since agriculture is a key strategic sector for the African continent and is now the main lever of post-Covid 19 economic recoveries, the 2021 Strategic Forum will facilitate the exchange of ideas among key stakeholders in Africa to develop new partnerships and projects that will help improve the productivity, efficiency, and resilience of Africa’s farming systems. While it is a challenging task owing to the predominance of smallholder farming, emerging solutions offered, for instance, by digital technologies open a wide range of promising opportunities.
Objectives:

Take stock of the food and nutrition security situation on the continent, what this means for agriculture and how fertilizers can contribute to solutions.

Consider the main recommendations that arose from the UN Food Systems Summit and COP26.

Showcase successful initiatives that have the potential to grow.

Identify new opportunities for the fertilizer industry and consider innovative partnerships.
