India @ Expo 2020 Dubai: Green Manufacturing Challenge will be organized by FICCI on 30 July 2021 to amplify the core message of the Dubai World Expo, “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.”
Green Manufacturing is essentially the reduction in usage of natural resources, pollution and waste production where factories recycle and reuse materials, and moderate emissions in their processes. The idea is to research, develop, or utilize technologies and practices to lessen the industrial impact on the environment.
Purpose of Event:

The focus will be on creating a sustainable world for the future with shared ideas and implementable solutions that would be industry-ready tomorrow. And since the Dubai World Expo is pivoted on sustainability, empowerment, a more equitable and a greener world, these challenges will get the conversation going and attract the right funding for such projects.

They are as much about a futuristic template for the survival of the planet be it reducing the carbon footprint through energy efficiencies, product design, optimizing the use of resources and re-conceptualizing processes as they are about inclusivity and embracing women and children. The idea is to re-shape governance and policy and make them accessible to all stakeholders.
