The rapid urbanization, rising global population, and economic growth create an exponential increase in demand for food-energy water security, especially for countries like India. The way we generate energy, produce food, and use water, substantially matters for major challenges of this century.
The Agricultural Sector Consumed 17.67% of electricity in the years 2019-2020. In the ongoing energy transition, Renewable Energy plays an important role. The deployment of advanced renewable energy solutions should consider EnergyWater-Food security. Hence, it is imperative to use the same piece of land for Energy Generation, Food Production, and saving Water losses.
The conference will address the initiatives taken by various organizations to support the same and how the Government of India and the Private sector can play their role. These discussions will deliberate on the way forward for the Role of AgriRenewables in India’s Journey of Energy Transition and Sustainable Farming.
