Webinar on COVID-19: Vaccination & The Next Wave will be organized by the FICCI Telangana State Council in association with ASCI & FTCCI on 2 July 2021 in virtual mode (Timing: 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m).
There is a need to re- energize our efforts to spread the ‘good word’ on vaccines to every nook and corner of the country. It would help in bringing about health equity in the country. With the vaccination drive underway, a certain amount of over- confidence and negligent behavior is in evidence.
Purpose of Webinar:

India needs to make preparations for the third wave by improving health infrastructure for children, who are yet to vaccinated. India needs to prepare paediatric healthcare infrastructure, including special ICUs and emergency rooms for children, before the arrival of the third wave. The next wave will hit those who were not hit in the first and second waves. Now, the country needs to speed up the processes for bringing vaccines for kids and teens.

The webinar will provide insights on the ongoing second wave of the pandemic, learnings from the first and second wave, projections for the next wave, progress of the vaccination drive, planning for the next wave in advance and how to manage the bottlenecks the nation/state is facing.
