10 Food and Agro Chem Companies in the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022

The IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022 saw the food and agro chem companies grabbing seats in the list, proving once again, that the Agri-related sector is still booming.

The food and agro chem industry have secured a lot of space in this year’s IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022. While we got to see some entities drop in ranks, we also saw some biggies jump the ranks such as Pradeep Burman and the family of the Dabur India, who sits at number 81 (moved 81 ranks since last year) with an estimated wealth of Rs 20500 crore. 

Ravi Jaipuria and family, the owners of the RJ Corp Food and Beverages, have climbed up 13 ranks to get to number 16 on the Hurun list with an estimated wealth of Rs 63900 crore.

Going down one rank, Nusli Wadia and family who owns Britannia Industries has slid down to number 19 on the list with an estimated wealth of Rs 57900 crore.

Climbing 9 ranks up, the Vijay Chauhan and family, owners of Parle Products, sit at number 26 in the list with an estimated wealth of Rs 49400 crore.

Meanwhile, Harsh Mariwal and family, owners of Marico see a drop in ranks at number 31 on the list with an estimated wealth of Rs 45500 crore.

Similarly, dropping down 4 ranks below, Acharya Balkrishna, owner of Patanjali Ayurved is now at number 41 in the Hurun list with an estimated wealth of Rs 32400 crore.

Both Nadir and Adi Godrej, owners of Godrej Consumer, dropped down two ranks below, now sitting at 43, with an estimated wealth of Rs 32000 crore.

Dabur India’s owner Anand Burman finds himself at number 63 after a drop of 6 ranks in the list with an estimated wealth of Rs 25700 crore while VC Burman and family, Dabur India’s owners have dropped down 2 ranks to sit at number 75 with an estimated wealth of Rs 21800 crore.

Dropping down 28 ranks to sit at number 92, owners of the Hatsun Agro Products Chandramogan and family’s estimated wealth is Rs 18600 crore.

Salil Singhal and family, who own PI Industries sit at rank 56 in the top 100 list with an estimated wealth of Rs 27000 crore, the only agrochemical company to make it into the list.
