The Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) hosted the 6th and 7th Set of Export Excellence Awards, honouring members who excelled in export performance of goods and services during fiscal years 2018-19 and 2019-20, respectively.
Insecticides (India) Limited has been bestowed with Gold award for FY 2018-19 and a Silver award for FY 2019-20 in one-star exports house category at the Awards ceremony at Mumbai. Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, presented the award to Rajesh Aggarwal, MD, IIL and Shrikant Satwe, Head of International Business, IIL.
This recognition is a testament to IIL’s unwavering commitment to excellence and steadfast efforts to deliver exceptional quality and value to their customers.
With regard to expanding the scope of exports, Anupriya Patel said, "The Prime Minister believes that every district in India has great potential, equal to a single country in the globe. Why not emphasise the phrase ‘Voice for local and local becomes global’ and the unrealized export potential? Exporters must concentrate on expanding their export markets and diversifying their export sources. We are developing a programme called ‘District as Export Hub’ for this.”
