7th Pay Commission Latest News: PM Narendra Modi government is going to give great news to the central government employees for which they have been waiting for a long time. Earlier the Modi government allowed 31 percent Dearness Allowance (DA).

Announcement to be made on 25 December

The employees got relief & now another huge announcement is going to be made soon! If reports are to be believed, a meeting with the cabinet secretary can be held on this issue before Christmas.

It is being told that talks were held between the National Council of JCM, Department of Personnel and Training, and Ministry of Finance regarding arrears. However, no final decision has been taken about this yet. Still, the workers unions are demanding pending arrears. There is now a ray of hope for the govt. employees as they might receive the pending DA arrears for the last 18 months now! 

According to media reports, the council has put forth a demand in front of the government that while restoring DA, one time settlement of DA arrears that was stuck for 18 months. It is also expected that in December this issue can be discussed with the cabinet secretary to make one time settlement of 18 months DA arrears. According to the Pay Commission report, there are a total of 33 lakh central employees in the country.

Now the PM has to make a final decision regarding the pending DA arrears of 18 months, the employees are very happy with this

If PM Modi gives a green signal on this, then a huge amount will come in the bank account of the employees. Earlier, the Modi government had increased the DA to 31 percent. 48 lakh central government employees and more than 65 lakh pensioners are getting the benefit of this.
