According to media reports, Central government employees will receive an additional amount when they receive their January 2022 salary. The Central Government may make an announcement in this regard on January 26, 2022.

As per various media reports, the central government employees will receive around Rs 4500 in January. Employees will, however, be required to fill out a voucher for this.

Employees To Get DA Arrears of 18 Months In January 2022

On the other hand, a decision on the arrears of dearness allowance, which has been pending for 18 months, could be made this month. Apart from regular employees, pensioners will also benefit directly from it.

How To Claim Rs 4,500?

It should be noted that the Central Government provides a variety of allowances to its employees. Children's Education Allowance is one of them. The Central Government has granted employees exemption due to the COVID pandemic.

If you have not yet been able to claim the Children Education Allowance, there is still time in January to do so, and no official documentation is required. Children of central employees receive an education allowance of Rs 2250 under the 7th Pay Commission.

Because of the COVID pandemic, schools across the country were closed, and employees were unable to claim the Children Education Allowance. In such a case, the Central Government has planned to provide some relief to employees and has allowed them to claim it without providing any documentation.

If you are a Central Government employee and have not yet claimed it, you can apply for it now. The Central government provided relief to approximately 25 lakh central employees. Government employees are given a stipend for the education of two children. One child is eligible for a Rs 2,250 allowance. If an employee has two children, Rs 4500 will be deposited into his account.

Central government employees and pensioners, on the other hand, are waiting for arrears of dearness allowance, which have been pending for the last 18 months due to the COVID pandemic. It is expected that an announcement will be made in this regard later this month.
