Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority is inviting applications to engage the services of Three Consultants for the Organic Division. The position is to be filled on a short-term contract basis for a period of three years (extendable beyond three years), on year to year basis on the basis of a review of performance. Educational Qualification & Experience:
Consultant 1 & 2

MSc (Agri) with BSc (Agri) OR MSc in Environmental Science with BSc in Environmental Science/Agri. Economics

Minimum Three years’ Experience in System Audits/ Regulatory assessment/ requirements

Desirable: Knowledge of National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) requirements on certification and trade & should have working knowledge of computer
Consultant 3

Tech in Textiles Engineering/Textile Technology

Minimum Three experience in System Audits/ Regulatory assessment/ requirements

Desirable: Knowledge of Cotton & Textiles production, processing, and handling, Knowledge of National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) requirements on certification and trade, an should have working knowledge of computer
Scope of Work:
Consultant 1 & 2

Accreditation, surveillance, and monitoring of Certification Bodies (Crop Science)

Compliance and enforcement activities based on National Standards and Standards of importing countries.

Additional tasks may be given by the authorized entity periodically.
Consultant 3

Accreditation, surveillance, and monitoring of Certification Bodies (Textiles)

Compliance and enforcement activities based on National Standards and Standards of importing countries

Additional tasks may be given by the authorized entity periodically.
Remuneration: Rs.60,000/per month (Consolidated) + Taxes
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years of age on the closing/last date for submission of applications.
