Armed Forces Flag Day 2021: Let’s together contribute towards well-being of our country’s brave heroes

It is celebrated since 1949 throughout the country to honour the martyrs and the men in uniform who valiantly fought and continue to fight on the borders to safeguard the Nation’s honour.

In India, Armed Forces Flag Day is celebrated on 7 December every year. It is celebrated since 1949 throughout the country to honour the martyrs and the men in uniform who valiantly fought and continue to fight on the borders to safeguard the Nation’s honour. And, no doubt, soldiers are the biggest asset of any country, they are the guardian and protector of the Nation.  

The entire country is forever indebted to these real heroes who are ready to do anything for the motherland. Government takes necessary measures for them, but along with this, it is our duty too to make our voluntary contribution towards providing support, care, and financial aid to them.  

On this day, all three Armed Forces of India, including Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air force organize variety of programmes to showcase their efforts towards Nation’s Security.  

Objective of Celebrating Armed Forces Flag Day

The aim of the celebration is to commemorate this day as an honour of Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of Armed Forces. And one more objective of Armed Forces Flag day is to collect the funds from people for the betterment of the Armed Forces staff just by selling Indian Flags, Badges, Stickers, and some other items.  

What is the Use of Fund? 

The fund collected on this day is used for the betterment of the Armed Forces, and also for the welfare of serving personnel and ex-servicemen, and to rehabilitate battle casualties. And in the return of donations, small flags are also distributed.  

How Can You Contribute?
