CAT RESULTS 2018 OUT @iimcat.ac.in: Check Out the Direct Link for CAT Score Card

IIM Calcutta has announced CAT Result 2018 today, on January 5. These results are available on its official website- iimcat.ac.in.

The CAT 2018 score is valid till December 31, 2019 and will be accessible on the website accordingly.

The candidates can also check the CAT Results 2018 by the following steps:  

  • Log on to the official website, iimcat.ac.in

  • On the homepage, click on the CAT 2018 result link

  • Enter your login details

  • On submitting the same, the CAT score card will be displayed on the screen

  • Download and take print out of the same for future use

  • The CAT score card will have the following information - section-wise scaled scores, total score, and percentile score.

Number of Candidates 

Approximately two lakh candidates had appeared for the CAT that was conducted on Sunday, November 25 at various centres across the country in two sessions- forenoon and afternoon. 

Admissions 

Those who clear the exam will be eligible for admission to management courses, including PGP, PGDM, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, PGPEX at the IIMs and other management colleges across the country. 

Accepted by JNU 

JNU has recently announced that the scores of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018 will be accepted by the varsity from its July 2019 session. 

CAT 2018 was held on November 25, 2018 at over 370 centres across the country. The test was of three hours. There were three sections-verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, quantitative ability. Students got 60 minutes to complete each section and they had to complete one section before proceeding to the next. 

Interestingly, from this year onwards, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore are planning to increase their intake by 805 seats from next year. For this year, however, a total of 12,411 seats are available across 20 IIMs in all the courses.
