Diwali 2021 Shubh Muhurat & Samagri for Lakshmi Puja

Diwali Puja Date & Timings

  • According to the Hindi calendar, the festival of Diwali is celebrated on the New Moon Day of Kartik month.

  • According to the calculations, this year the date of Kartik Amavasya will start from 06:03 in the morning on November 04 to 02:44 in the night on November 05.

  • According to the religious leaders, the festival of Diwali will be celebrated on Thursday, November 04.

  • The five-day Diwali festival is starting from Dhanteras on November 02, the next day Narkachaturdashi will be celebrated.

  • Annakoot & Govardhan Puja will be performed on Pratipada day on 05 November after Diwali.

  • The festival of Yama Dwitiya or Bhaiya Dooj will be celebrated on 06 November.

Diwali Puja Time/Lakshmi Puja Time

  • The day of Diwali is also known as Lakshmi Pujan. On this day there is a law to worship Goddess Lakshmi & Lord Ganesha together.

  • Along with this, Mahakali and the Ishta Devas of all sects are also worshiped on this day.

  • The most auspicious time for Lakshmi Puja is 1 hour 55 minutes. 

  • After this, from 11.38 pm to 12.30 pm, there is a Muhurta for worshiping Maa Kali during the Mahanishith period.
