EPFO Latest Update: PF Account Holders will Soon Get Rs 56,000 as Interest

For the first time in the past 40 years, the interest money will be transferred first for the 2020–21 fiscal year.

If you are a PF account holder, then it is obvious that the interest money given by the government will come into your account. Media reports claimed that the PF department is soon going to transfer the interest money to the beneficiary’s account. About 6 crore people will benefit from this. According to the reports, interest at the rate of 8.1 percent will come into the account.

It must be noted that in the fiscal year 2019–20, 8.5% interest was already announced by the government hence employees are very disappointed this time. The date of the interest money's deposit has not been officially published by the EPFO through media reports claiming that very soon the money will be given to the employees.

How much money will come into your account?

The government will put 8.1% interest money in the account of PF employees, which will benefit lakhs of families. For example, if Rs 7 lakh is there in your account, then the interest of Rs 56,000 will be transferred.

How to check money?

You can check how much money is in PF account from your mobile sitting at home. All you have to do is write - EPFO ​​UAN LAN and sent it to 7738299899 from EPFO ​​registered mobile number. If you need information in English, you should type ENG instead of LAN.
