EPFO Update: The Wait is Over! Employees to Get Rs 80,000 on This Day, Know How to Check Balance

There is a lot of excitement among the salaried employees because it is anticipated that the central government would transfer the PF interest funds to the account soon. More than 6 crore people would benefit from this.

The government will offer 8.1 percent interest for the fiscal year 2020–2021, which is the lowest rate in the previous 40 years. Additionally, 8.5 percent interest was paid earlier. The claim is being lodged on August 30 even though EPFO, the firm that deposited the PF, has not yet made any official orders about the date of interest.

Following a directive from the Central government, EPFO would now add 8.1 percent interest to PF employees' accounts. The money will receive 8.1 percent interest, per the notification. As a result, if you have 10 lakh rupees in your account, you will receive around 80,000 rupees in interest. The staff members are quite enthusiastic about this. How to check your PF balance:

To check the balance of your PF account, go to epfindia.gov.in first.

You next need to click the link that says, "Click here to know your EPF Balance."

After that, you must click the redirect link to get to the epfoservices.in/epfo/ page.

The next step is to select the "Member Balance Information" option.

After that, you must input both your registered mobile number and PF account number.

Following this, you must choose your state and click on the state's EPFO office internet link.

After that, you must select the "Submit" option.
