The UPSC (Union Public Service Examination) 2020 results have been released, and many applicants from ordinary backgrounds have been successful. This exam was cleared by a total of 761 applicants including Shelly Rathi, who passed the UPSC exam in her 5th attempt and ranked 308th position.

About Shelly Rathi

Shelly Rathi passed her UPSC examination on her fifth attempt. She had also taken the UPSC Preliminary Examination, but was unable to pass. She then made the decision to give up. However, with the help of her family, she was able to pass the UPSC on her fifth attempt.

Shelly was a district topper in Class 10 and a Gold Medalist in B.Tech. Shelly's father works on fields in Bahadurgarh.

“I still can't quite believe I passed the UPSC exam; our family is more excited than I am, and that makes me proud of myself.” My parents' and my entire family's heads have been elevated by me. I'm happy that I was able to achieve something that would make them proud. They gave me everything without considering whether I would ever be able to repay them,” said Shelly Rathi.

Shelly Rathi's Triumph Brought Joy To Her Parents

Sundari Rathi, Shelly's mother, stated, "She has fulfilled my goal." I was concerned about her health since she studied at all hours of the day and night. She had put off sitting the UPSC test for two months earlier in 2019, but she has now returned. We never told her she couldn't follow her heart.”

“I don't care in the slightest about her rank; I'm ecstatic for her achievement. A parent is proud of their child at all times. It was happy when I was occupied with farming while my children worked hard in school. Shelly's father, Satish Rathi, remarked, "She did self-study and believed in herself."

The Central Public Service Commission conducted an examination, and 761 applicants passed it. The first 25 candidates are made up of 13 males and 12 females. The overall number of successful applicants is 545, with 216 female students among them.
