Due to the farmers' rally, who are demanding the removal of three controversial farm laws, three boundaries across Delhi -Singhu, Ghazipur and Tikri continued to be blocked on Monday. Traffic police in Delhi had to divert cars, which could theoretically contribute to traffic jams during peak hours in areas of the area.

Delhi traffic police officers said jams could be seen in Delhi during peak hours as the Ghazipur-Ghaziabad (UP Gate) border remains fully closed due to the ongoing unrest.

Due to the UP Gate border blockade, all six Delhi-Meerut Expressway, NH-9 and NH-24 lanes are blocked, and vehicles entering Delhi from Ghaziabad are diverted to alternate border routes such as Anand Vihar, Surya Nagar,New Ashok Nagar, Bhopra, Loni, Kunj, Kondli, Chilla, DND, and Kalindi ,Apsara, they said.

As farmers continue to protest, no traffic is permitted on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. A traffic police officer said, 'The Chilla border between Noida and Delhi is open on both sides.'

Traffic police officers said the Auchandi border was only available at peak hours in the morning and evening, while the Lampur, Safiabad, Singhu School and Palla toll tax boundaries were open for traffic.

The traffic officers urged commuters to take alternative routes as the traffic on GT Karnal Road, Outer Ring Road and NH-44 is expected to remain strong.
