IIT Kanpur GATE 2023: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 result will be announced on March 16. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, which is in charge of conducting GATE 2023, will publish the results on the site gate.iitk.ac.in.
From March 21, 2023, candidates can download their scorecards. Applicants can log in using either their email address and password OR their GATE 2023 enrolment ID.
IIT Kanpur GATE 2023: Calculations of Score for All Papers
Actual marks earned by candidates will be used to calculate the GATE 2023 Score for all papers with a single session. For papers in multi-sessions, normalized marks will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks obtained by a candidate (as explained in Section 6.1.1) and the GATE 2023 Score will be calculated based on the normalized marks. The formula shown below will be used to calculate the GATE 2023 score.

M: scores obtained by the applicant (actual marks for single-session papers and normalised marks for multi-session papers)

Mq: is the qualifying marks for general category candidates in the paper

M̅t: is the mean of marks of the top 0.1% or top 10 (whichever is larger) of the candidates who appeared in the paper (in case of multi-session papers including all sessions)

Sq: 350, is the score assigned to Mq

St: 900, is the score assigned to ̅Mt
A GATE score is valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.
IIT Kanpur GATE 2023: How to download results?

Go to gate.iitk.ac.in, the official website.

Search for the "Download GATE 2023 Answer Key" link or look for the authorized result link.

Log in with your email address and password OR your GATE 2023 enrolment ID.

On the screen, the GATE 2023 Result will appear.

Download the GATE 2023 Result and take a printout for future reference.
Eight sessions of the GATE test for engineering graduates were held on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023. The GATE answer key was made public on February 21. From February 22 to February 25, 2023, applicants had the chance to raise any issues they may have had.
The qualifying applicants can obtain GATE 2023 Scorecards for free from the GATE 2023 website between 21 March and 31 May 2023 after the results are announced.
According to the official announcement, "GATE qualified applicants MUST pay a price of 500 (Rupees five hundred only) per paper for acquiring the same" if they need a soft copy of their GATE Scorecard after 31 May 2023 and up to 31 December 2023. For GATE 2023 qualifying applicants, NO scorecard will be released after January 1, 2024. There is NO provision for the GATE Scorecard to be distributed in hard copies.
