Good News for Jio Customers! Reliance launches “The Emergency Data Loan” Facility; Here’s How to Avail It

Jio has announced that their users will now be able to get high speed data on loan and pay for it later. It will offer a simple yet powerful solution to their users which will endure continuity of seamless high speed data experience. This offer is called The Emergency Data Loan service; it aims to allow its prepaid subscribers to get up to five data loan packs of 1 GB each & 5 GB in total.

Jio has announced that their users will now be able to get high speed data on loan and pay for it later.  It will offer a simple yet powerful solution to their users which will ensure continuity of seamless high speed data experience. This offer is called The Emergency Data Loan service; it aims to allow its prepaid subscribers to get up to five data loan packs of 1 GB each & 5 GB in total. 

This facility will help the users who have exhausted their current data plans and are not able to purchase a data top-up for their accounts. Jio understands that not every user is in a position to purchase a data top up pack instantly. Hence, they can make use of this service.

Each data loan will carry 1 GB of high speed data access at Rs 11 and will be valid till the validity of base plan.

How to apply for Jio’s Emergency Data loan Service?

Step-1: Open MyJio app on your smartphone and go to ‘Menu’ and click ‘Proceed’ on the emergency data loan banner.

Step – 2: Select ‘Emergency Data Loan’ under mobile services and click proceed on the emergency data loan banner.

Step – 3: Select the ‘Get Emergency Data’ option.

Step – 4: Click ‘Activate now’ to get the emergency loan benefit.

Step – 5: Emergency data loan service is now activated.

Jio have recently expanded their network to almost double its data capacity and speed. The users have already started experiencing better connectivity and higher speeds. A few days back Jio launched a new long term plan for its pre-paid users. This plan was yearlong plan for Rs 3,499 that would provide 3GB of data per day and a total of 1,095 GB data. This plan also offered unlimited voice calling and a free 100 SMSes a day. It also provided access to JioTV, JioCinema, Jionews, JioSecurity and JioCloud.
