Good News for SBI Customers! Now File Income Tax Returns For Free

State Bank of India (SBI) has recently announced that its customers can file their Income Tax Returns (ITR) with Tax2Win on the YONO app that too free of cost.

Amid the post extension of due dates for filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) and various reports of audit for the Assessment Year 2021-22, country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a big deal for the taxpayers.

State Bank of India (SBI) has announced that its clients may file their Income Tax Returns (ITR) for free using Tax2Win on the YONO app.

Do you wish to file an ITR? You can do it for free on YONO by using Tax2win. You just need five documents. Download now: sbiyono.sbi, "SBI recently posted a tweet on its official twitter account. Customers of SBI may also receive eCA assistance for Rs.199. The offer is available till October 31, 2021.

SBI customers must keep the following documents handy while filing an ITR:

• PAN Card

Aadhaar Card

• Form 16

• Tax deduction details

• Interest income certificates

• Investment proofs for tax saving


Steps to File an ITR Using the YONO App:

• Step 1: Login to SBI YONO.

• Step 2: Select the 'Shops and Orders' option.

• Step 3: Next, choose 'Tax and Investment.'

• Step 4: Finally, select 'Tax2Win.'

After completing these procedures, customers must follow the instructions to file their ITR.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) agreed last month to extend the deadline for filing Income Tax Returns and different audit reports for the Assessment Year 2021-22. Owing to the new extension, the due period for furnishing the Return of Income for the Assessment Year 2021-22, which was 31st July 2021 under sub-section (1) of section 139 of the Act, as extended to 30th September 2021 is now further extended to 31st December 2021.

"The due date for furnishing Return of Income for the Assessment Year 2021-22, which was 31st July, 2021 under sub-section (1) of section 139 of the Act, as extended to 30th September, 2021 vide Circular No.9/2021 dated 20.05.2021, is hereby further extended to 31st December, 2021," the Finance Ministry said in a statement.
