Government Intervenes Quickly to Avoid a Shut down in the Fertilizer Sector

But the government is acting very quickly to avoid a shut down in the fertilizer sector .Two specific set of instructions have been sent out from the highest levels of the government. The speed at which the government is moving is heartening, an industry official says. This can gear up to work at a very fast pace when facing a crisisand India has a lock down and hence we cannot import products from China due to China’s closure of the Fertilizer plants.

As Fertilisers are rampantly being used by farmers all over the globe and they are among the five imports from China. The lack of availability of Fertlisers could take a hit at the Agriculture in the country and it will start impacting India’s economic growth too. But the are other reports stating that the Fertiliser imports are going to cost more in the recent future.

But however, says domestic companies manufacturing these items will be in an advantageous position.
