Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, led by Union Minister Arjun Munda, launched the Agriculture Integrated Command and Control Center on March 08 2024 at Krishi Bhavan in Delhi to revolutionize farming techniques throughout the country. This pioneering initiative aims to harness the power of digital technology to provide farmers with vital information, services, and resources, ultimately fostering self-reliance among the agricultural community.

Union Minister Munda underscored the government's commitment to boosting agricultural sector and empowering farmers nationwide. He highlighted that Prime Minister Modi's vision of "Minimum Government, Maximum Governance" serves as the guiding principle, ensuring minimal disruption to citizens' lives while enabling them to thrive independently. Launch of the Command Center represents a key step towards achieving this goal, integrating technology into the fabric of everyday farming practices.

Munda highlighted the essential role of technology in modern society, stressing the government's obligation to leverage it as a tool for empowerment. By providing farmers with access to real-time data and resources, the government aims to enhance production efficiency, address challenges, and maximize the benefits of existing schemes. The ultimate objective is to equip farmers with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly digitized world, thereby propelling India towards prosperity and self-sufficiency.

Central to the initiative is the concept of "AgriStack," a digital infrastructure designed to streamline agricultural processes and facilitate informed decision-making. Through initiatives like digital crop surveys and remote sensing technology, the Command Center will enable authorities to monitor ground realities, assess crop conditions, and implement targeted interventions as needed. This comprehensive approach marks a significant step forward in India's agriculture sector.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Munda extended special greetings, highlighting the government's commitment to empowering women in agriculture. He highlighted the crucial role of women in driving innovation and sustainability within the sector, affirming India's unwavering respect for female contributions. As the nation celebrates Women's Power Year, the agricultural sector stands ready to harness the full potential of women-led initiatives, further advancing the nation's agricultural prowess.

Inauguration ceremony, attended by dignitaries including Central Agriculture Secretary Manoj Ahuja and additional ministry officials, showcased government's dedication to promoting transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity in agricultural governance. With the launch of the Command Center, farmers can look forward to a future defined by greater access to information, enhanced productivity, and improved livelihoods.

As the nation marches towards its vision of a developed and self-reliant India, government remains dedicated in its commitment to prioritizing the needs of farmers and fostering sustainable growth across the agricultural sector.
