Post offices throughout the nation are selling the Indian national flag as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign as the country prepares to celebrate its 75th Independence Day.
Recently, the Department of Post stated that National Flags would be sold online through the ePostoffice site at www.epostoffice.gov.in. The sale of the Indian flags started on August 1.
Since the sale window is quite limited right before Independence Day, the department has also instructed the post offices to deliver the flags as soon as possible.
The Indian flag may now display at people's houses day and night thanks to a government change to the Flag Code of India. Earlier, the Tricolour was allowed to be hoisted only from sunrise to sunset.

Price and size of the Indian flag
The Indian flag measures 20 inches x 30 inches in size (without a flagpole). The tricolor is being sold for Rs 25 each piece. There is no GST on the Indian flag.
How to buy an Indian flag from the post office?
Please visit www.epostoffice.gov.in. On the ePostoffice Portal home page, click the image of the Indian flag. "Click the image to purchase Flag" is written underneath the image. Specify the delivery address, the number of Flags (up to a limit of 5 Flags per client initially), and your mobile number. In order to complete the purchase, you will be required to follow the most recent Flag code. Complete the order by making the payment.
Orders cannot be cancelled
Customers will not be allowed to cancel once an order is placed.
Delivery of Indian flag
The delivery of the flag will be made free of cost by the nearest post office.
