Anjali Yadav, who received a perfect score of 100% on her CBSE class 10 exam, was presented with a scholarship of Rs 20,000 per month for two years on Sunday by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

Khattar praised Anjali for bringing glory to the state and village during a video call with her family. The chief minister offered Anjali and her mother a scholarship worth Rs 20,000 per month for the following two years after hearing about their financial situation, according to an official statement.

Additionally, he promised full support from the government for her academic studies.

In the meantime, Khattar claimed in a statement that his government had provided tablets to five lakh students of classes 10, 11, and 12.

“Haryana is the first state in the country to distribute tablets to five lakh students of government schools. The state government is working to implement more educational reforms. In this budget, Rs 20,000 crore has been set aside for education. We don't want to leave our students behind in any area as the current era is of technology,” Khattar remarked.

He continued by saying that while Haryana has agreed to execute the National Education Policy (NEP) by 2025, the national government has set a goal of having it in effect by 2030.
