A student of Mainpuri of UP has prepared an underwear designed with the help of technology in order to control the incidents of molestation of women and girls across the country, which can protect women from rape incidents.

A B.Sc. student named Sheenu Kumar has claimed to have prepared an undergarment through technology that will protect women and prevent such cases like rape to a greater extent.

Sheenu kumari is originally resident of Mainpuri in Farrukhabad's village, Nagla Sabal, and a student of BSc Final Year. Sheenu was born in a farmer’s family, and opted to study biology, and has prepared a modern undergarment which was fruit to the self study, which she did.

This undergarment also has sensor and audio recorder, which gives this garment much sense of security and confidentiality. The audio recorder in the undergarment traps and records the voices and movements of the culprit. After this the police can trace back the culprit to end the operation. All the gadgets in under garment are password-protected, which can be operated with password only.

According to Sheenu Kumari, blade proof fabric has been used in the underwear which can not be cut or torn easily. In addition, they have installed sensors in it, which will bring information to the police in emergency.

Sheenu Kumari said that she has displayed this experiment in front of Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Maneka Gandhi. The Union Minister has appreciated and sent it to the technical experts in Ahmedabad.  Sheenu mentions that if the government helps them, then this experiment can play a big role in the product development and help in women's protection.
