Hundreds of farmers want to know about the new technologies for crop production

On April 25, 2018, there was an event conducted by Krishi Jagran in association with (KVK and CFM/WALDEN) in Baksha block of Jaunpur  (Uttar Pradesh). Hundreds of farmers gathered to attend the program. Krishi Jagran along with (KVK and CFM/WALDEN) facilitated the farmer by telling them about new technology which they can use for increasing the production of crops. We told them about some modern technology which they can adopt and also asked them to utilize their vacant space of land for farming of turmeric (haldi). With the help of that, they can earn extra.

1. The Chief Guest of KVK (DR.U.S Gautam) told them the advantage of organic farming. He mentioned the difference between organic farming and farming by using fertilizer. He stated that on one hand, the use of fertilizer decreases the productivity of land while on the other hand organic farming has no side effects on land.
2. The Guest of Honor, DR.A.P. Rao of KVK gave information on Animal husbandry, Azolla, and Vermicompost. He stated that CFM, Walden Agri, and Krishi Jagran are in support of us. This will have a positive impact on the condition of farmers and they will get information about the farming condition and modern technology.
3. District Manager of Walden Agri Infra Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Sunil Yadav told us about vision and mission of his company which is to reduce the input cost of farming and increase the output or production. He told us how his company can help farmers to improve production by using new technology and CFM and Walden are connecting farmers with an E-commerce platform.
4. Krishi Jagran in association with CFM and WALDEN gave more information to the farmers about agriculture.
