IARI has released recruitment notification for three posts i.e. Young Professionals- I, Young Professionals- II, JRF and SRF Plant Pathology on purely contractual basis. Below we have given all the details post-wise
Young Professional- I
Essential Qualifications - Candidates must have B.Sc. (Ag.) or B.Sc. in Botany or Biology or Biotechnology or relevant basic sciences.
Desirable - Working research know-how in the field of Agricultural research related works in field crops or working knowledge on computer/Lab work
Pay Scale - Rs.15,000

Young Professional-II
Essential Qualification - Applicants must have Masters degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or Agricultural Statistics / equivalent Master degree from a recognized university .
Desirable - Mobile App development
Pay Scale - Rs 25000/- consolidated/ month
The minimum age for Young Professional-II will be 21years while maximum 45 years with relaxation as per the rules.

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
Qualification - Post Graduate in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology or Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding / Genetics or Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Plant Pathology/Life Sciences. They must have CSIR/UGC/ICAR-NET/GATE qualification. Ph.D holder will be given preference if NET/GATE candidate is not available.
Desirable - Research experience in Molecular markers/tissue culture techniques.

SRF Plant Pathology
Essential Qualification - Must have Masters of Science in Plant Pathology or M.Tech. Biotechnology or Life Sciences with at least 4 years of bachelor degree or applicants having PG degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor degree & 2 years of Master’s degree should have qualified NET.
Desirable - Experience in pathological & biochemical techniques
